In 1968, this episode of Star Trek – The Original Series (Season 3) featured an episode (Nr. 22) that brilliantly raised the issue of humankind getting rid of racial discrimination through its history.

This was done in the form of putting Abraham Lincoln and lieutenant Uhura to the same scene and playing out more than 300 years of social development in a mere minute.
