My Kids

A few short years ago, I went on a road trip with a friend to pick somebody up in Georgia and bring them back to Minnesota.  Usually when I was traveling and I was going to be gone over night, I would load the kids into their carriers and take them with me.  This time that wasn’t possible.

I grabbed this picture before I left.

Hello and welcome to my blog! Blacky's Burrow is my personal blog about me and my best friends Misty and Johnny. These are the atypical day to day antics of a crazy cat person and a Rose-Point Siamese cat that's just a little bit crazier.

  1. Awww, that is how I would like to think Mrs H would think I was when she goes away…. alas that image wouldn’t last long as it would be party time and all mice included, MOL
It does make for a most wonderful and heart warming selfie though and one to cherish.
    Sunday purrs

  2. Oh they look happy, warm and comfy. I am glad they don’t mind travel though. I don’t think Katie Isabella would let me do that…take her, except under extreme duress. 🙂

    • They first time I tried traveling with Misty, I spent about 20 minutes untangling her from the wires up under the dash. She was my little explorer. I stopped at Walmart on my way out of town and bought a carrier. Johnny could ride out on the seat. He just curls up and goes to sleep.

  3. Aww… they were trying to hide that they were sad that you were leaving on your trip. Or maybe they hoped you’d cancel the trip and curl up on the bed and cuddle with them. Purr purr purr.
